Wishlist for a Document Authoring and Presentation System: I'm unsatisfied with HTML as a markup language and CSS as a presentation language. Even DocBook isn't good enough.

Thoughts that might eventually turn into essays

Patents in general are harmful and should be eliminated.
NTriples notation for expressing RDF sucks. It's too verbose, and, while it could be useful for seeing exactly what's in an RDF graph, an image or dot file is better for that. RDQL sucks too because it's based on NTriples and SQL. On the other hand, now that I've actually read the documentation for N3, it's not too bad.
